Food Distribution

Kou Yorway Foundation in collaboration with Gbannah citizens in the Diaspora distributed 123 bags of rice in August 2020 benefitting over 400 persons in 13 towns located in Gbannah Clan, Nimba County. The purpose of the distribution was to ease the burden of COVID-19 on the people.

Healthcare

The civil war devastated the health sector also. Hospitals and clinics were destroyed or looted, and their personnel were either killed or left the country in fear of their lives. Many people in rural Liberia do not have access to health care because facilities are far away, or they do not have the resources to afford care. The Kou Yorway Foundation intends to build and run clinics for the benefit of its students and personnel.
